Dr. Peter C. Friedman received his MD form Semmelweis Medical School in Budapest, Hungary in 1991. He completed his first Dermatology residency at the same institution in 1995. Dr. Friedman joined the Basic Science Research Group at the Department of Dermatology, Columbia University in 1996 where he studied inherited disorders of the skin. After completing a medical internship at Staten Island University Hospital in 2002, he completed his second Dermatology residency at Columbia University – New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2005. Dr. Friedman is Board Certified in Dermatology and he is in private practice since 2005. Dr. Friedman specializes in all aspects of adult and pediatric dermatology. His special interests include psoriasis, blistering diseases of the skin and dermoscopic assessment of skin lesions. Dr. Friedman is faculty member of the Department of Dermatology, Columbia University - New York Presbyterian Hospital.
